Workplace Counselling & Employee Support

Personal, professional counselling for your employees — without the complexity of a traditional EAP.

Human support. Professional counselling. Simple access

Christine-Roberts-Counselling_edited.png

Christine Roberts Counselling offers employers a straightforward way to provide professional
therapeutic support to their employees without needing to purchase a full Employee Assistance
Programme (EAP).

The service sits between private counselling and a traditional EAP: the employer contracts directly
with Christine, whilst employees have confidential access to an experienced qualified counsellor for
work-related or personal difficulties.

A Strong Existing Foundation

Christine has successfully provided therapeutic counselling through a health-insurance setting, where employees access counselling for work or personal issues. Giving her experience of working within an employee-support pathway and maintaining appropriate therapeutic and confidentiality boundaries.

Why This Works

Shatin Park, Hong Kong_edited.jpg

Personal, consistent therapeutic support rather than an anonymous call-centre model.

  • Employees can self-refer directly for counselling.

  • Support can cover both work and personal issues.

  • Flexible online and face-to-face counselling.

  • A simple service that can work particularly well for small and medium-sized businesses.

  • Employers can offer meaningful mental-health support without the complexity of a large EAP contract.

Confidential therapeutic support for your people when life or work becomes difficult.

For example, employees could access up to six counselling sessions for issues such as:

Workplace
Difficulties

Life Changes &  Transitions

Trauma

Confidence & Self-Esteem

How It Works:

01.

The employer contracts directly with Christine Roberts Counselling.

02.

Employees are given clear information about the service and how to self-refer.

03.

Employees arrange counselling directly with Christine.

04.

Sessions take place online and/or face-to-face, depending on the agreed service.

05.

Counselling remains confidential, subject to normal professional, safeguarding and risk
requirements.

06.

The employer receives only appropriate anonymised utilisation information, if agreed.

Confidentiality

There is a clear separation between therapeutic work and the employer. Employers do not receive information about what an employee discusses in counselling, their diagnosis or the content of sessions. Any reporting is limited to agreed, anonymised service-use information, with normal professional and safeguarding exceptions clearly explained.
