About Me
After an unexpected event in my twenties, I discovered the benefits of talking to a professional, and went on to qualify as a counsellor. In my work I look to find balance between what is going on in our minds (our external world), our emotions (our internal world) and our physical bodies. Finding your unique balance is key to feeling better and living a full life.

I’m a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) which verifies counsellors in the UK and ensures their members are working to high professional standards and code of ethics. My personal values are closely entwined with the UK Equality Act 2010.
My Approach
I combine therapeutic counselling (talking about what is going on) with elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on your individual needs. By combining all three techniques in a way that feels right for you, life should begin to feel more manageable and your desired positive changes possible.
CBT
Is a type of therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's commonly used with anxiety, low self-estem issues and depression.
ACT
Is a type of mindful therapy that helps you stay focused on the present moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgement. It’s been helpful for people suffering from anxiety, stress and depression.
